Innovation within the UN Organizations

This webinar features an academia-practitioner dialogue on the topic of Innovation in the UN Organizations. To address the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), UN Organizations are facing multiple pressures to embrace innovation and transform rapidly. This presents unprecedented challenges to these organizations. First, academics will frame the debate by presenting their research results around the challenges and tensions of organizing innovation in different contexts. Then, practicing managers will share how they organize innovation in their purpose-driven organizations and what parallels can be drawn to different sectors. The practitioners will address questions around the major challenges of “organizing innovation,” organizational solutions that have been successfully implemented, and innovation priorities for the future.
