Why did you agree to serve on the ODC board?

This is an exciting time for organization design scholars as we witness the emergence and growth of digitization, platform-based business models and the disruption of traditional models of how and where we work. By serving on the ODC board, I hope to become more deeply engaged with initiatives in these emergent and important phenomena concerning the design of organizations.

What are your aspirations for the Community?

My hope is that the community will grow, foster greater collaboration among scholars, policy makers and practitioners, and contribute to society.

Gurneeta Vasudeva is an Associate Professor at the Carlson School of Management (University of Minnesota), which she joined in 2007. Gurneeta's research is primarily concerned with the question of how firms search, acquire and build on the knowledge the resides in their organizational and institutional ecosystem.
More recently, Gurneeta has investigated how firms cooperate in the face of conflict in repeated interaction settings such as standard development organizations.
